Roof Maintenance
Roof work on a building that has to stay weather-tight while you do it.
What it means
Roof scopes are decided by access and weather before they are decided by materials. How the crew gets up there safely, and how much can be opened up in a day, sets the whole programme.
Sheet replacement, flashings and leak rectification are staged so the building is never left open to a forecast, and fall protection goes up before the work starts rather than alongside it.
